When converting your BMW N51, N52, or N53 engine to a standalone ECU, the factory Valvetronic variable valve lift system must be deleted. Valvetronic exists primarily to improve fuel economy and emissions—neither of which matter when you’re on track or ripping a canyon road.

This kit completely removes the Valvetronic motor, replaces the position sensor with a precision block-off, and seals the valve cover with a clean billet beauty plate. No unused electronics, no limp modes, no compromises.

By eliminating Valvetronic, this setup unlocks maximum valve lift at all times, allowing the engine to breathe properly and make the most power possible. It simplifies the engine, improves reliability, and lets your ECU and throttle do exactly what you tell them to do.
