OEM Alcantara Boot w/ Frame (Manual Transmission): 25-11-0-435-847 — Genuine BMW Performance Alcantara Shift Boot (black) with base frame. 
Alternate OE part: 25-16-2-153-761 — Auto shift boot (for automatic transmission) pictured for non-M E9X; included here for comparison but NOT manual version. 

Compatibility with other chassis’

Fits non-M E9X manual transmission models (BMW 3 Series):

• E90 sedans (2006-2011) non-M manuals
• E92 coupes (2007-2013) non-M manuals
• E93 convertibles (2008-2013) non-M manuals

Does *not* fit M-series shift boots directly because M-series uses different base rings/frames in many cases. The auto boot referenced above is *not* compatible with manual shift setups. Always confirm base frame and knob style for your specific car before ordering.

Installation tools needed

• Torx & Phillips screwdrivers (verify which fasteners your car uses around shifter bezel)
• Trim removal tools / plastic pry tools (protects surrounding trim & plastic parts)
• Socket set (often small metric, e.g. 8-10mm for screws/bolts under shift surround)
• Needle-nose pliers (for clips or tabs holding boots or bezel)
• Clean microfiber cloth & isopropyl alcohol to prep contact surfaces
• Optional: replacement clips or fasteners if original hardware is damaged or missing

OEM+ parts, Direct swap of OEM parts

This shift boot is designed as an OEM+ part: same dimensions, same mounting frame, same fit in shifter tunnel. Swap in will preserve tactile feel & appearance. We recommend sending your VIN so we can verify you have the manual variant and matching color/stitch options for interior consistency.

Not all items are covered by warranty. Items including warranty, will clearly state that there is warranty within the product description. Most of these items will be a standard 1-year warranty against manufacture defects. You, the customer, will be responsible for shipping and handling. We will fix/replace that item with a product that is in working condition if you meet the warranty criteria. Please note that you will be allowed ONLY 1 claim within the year for that product.
