BMW 8HP Park-Lock Kit

SLG/HPR are proud to introduce the manual Park Lock Release for BMW transmissions:

The 8HP BMW transmission is known for its performance, but an annoying part of having one is being stuck in Park unless you have the engine on to build hydraulic pressure to hold the parking pawl up.

This makes pushing cars around the shop, loading onto trailers, alignments, and towing the car in emergencies a big pain with the drive wheels locked when the engine is off.

Together with Seems Legit Garage we at HPR can present a manual Park Lock Release for BMW transmissions. Inspired by our partners at SLG and their manual park lock release for DCT we have now come up with the design that fits most of th BMW 8HP transmissions.

For durability purposes the kit is crafted from premium materials. Laser-cut and CNC-bent steel ensure strength. Powder-coated black finish of the handle and bracket gives it a sleek look. The transmission bracket and lever, finished with black zinc coating, guarantee long-lasting resistance against corrosion and wear.

Not all items are covered by warranty. Items including warranty, will clearly state that there is warranty within the product description. Most of these items will be a standard 1-year warranty against manufacture defects. You, the customer, will be responsible for shipping and handling. We will fix/replace that item with a product that is in working condition if you meet the warranty criteria. Please note that you will be allowed ONLY 1 claim within the year for that product.
